2025 SCR Arts Education Project Application

Prior to applying for Statewide Community Regrants (SCR)—formerly "Decentralization (DEC) Grant"—funding, prospective applicants must read the 2025 SCR Application Guidelines. First-time applicants and returning teaching artists, organizational representatives, project managers, and grant writers who did not apply for 2021 DEC or 2022, 2023, and/or 2024 SCR funding must either attend a "How-to-Apply" seminar (held in-person or via Zoom) led by the grant coordinator or speak with him in an individual consultation. Returning applicants who did apply for 2021 DEC funding and/or SCR funding beginning with the 2022 cycle must touch base with the grant coordinator by email before completing a 2025 application.

New York State-designated nonprofit organizations, governmental/quasi-governmental entities, and tribal organizations applying for SCR funding for Arts Education and/or Community Arts (CA) projects, including as a fiscal sponsor, must fill out and submit an essentially one-time "Intent-to-Apply" form before their project application(s) can be considered for grant support.

The 2025 application guidelines are currently available on the ALCA website, where details on individual seminars will be posted as they become confirmed, at:
