2024 SCR Arts Education Grant Application: Round 2

Prior to applying for Statewide Community Regrants (SCR)—formerly "Decentralization (DEC) Grant"—funding, prospective applicants must read the 2024 SCR application guidelines. Returning teaching artists, organizational representatives, project managers, and grant writers who did not apply for 2021 DEC or 2022, 2023, or Round-1 2024 SCR funding, as well as first-time applicants, must either attend a "How-to-Apply" seminar (held in-person or via Zoom) led by the grant coordinator or speak with him in an individual consultation. The 2024 SCR application guidelines are currently available on the ALCA website (see especially the section on Round-2 funding on page 14), where details on individual seminars will be posted as they become confirmed, at:

https://www.adirondackarts.org/current-scr-grant-cycle

Because approval for funding in Round 2 will be determined by applicants meeting all of the 2024 SCR guideline requirements as assessed by the grant coordinator on a first-come, first-served basis, there is no specified deadline. Applications will be accepted until the Round-2 funding (just under $30,000) is expended. To register for a seminar or consultation, request a copy of the guidelines and other materials, and/or learn more about ALCA's ADK Quad-County SCR Program, please email Grant Coordinator Fred Balzac at fred@adirondackarts.org. To reach him by phone or leave a voicemail message, call or text his cell at 518-588-7275.
